Breaking The Piñata
As a child I was always reluctant to visit my Dad’s ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico. As an incentive, he would buy a piñata for me to crack open after lunch, however the piñata was always empty. Through these experiences and actions, I realized I was cracking through my own personal psyche and larger journey. In tandem with chipping away at myself, I handcraft new piñatas. With each crack comes an infinite stream of insight, encouraging demolition for the sake of new treasures.
