Gray Matters

In my ongoing series, Gray Matters, I explore new ways to inhabit the space between black and white. Raised in an environment conditioned by institutions and expectations, the world is painted in black and white. Seeking comfort and validation, we are too often complicitly living in a prison of linearity- shunning the foreign, strange, and alien. The reality that occupies the space between black and white is dedicated to authenticity and opportunity. Each monochromatic shade of gray is a spectrum of emotions engaging in the opportunity for understanding and acceptance. Ultimately, Gray Matters encourages an active and multidimensional reflection of the self.
