Metamorphosis
The series Metamorphosis came from a period in my life riddled by a deep need for personal understanding. Through the discovery of the surrealist fumage technique, I opened portals to my subconscious. The application of smoke onto a canvas allowed my emotions and visions to define themselves- take up space. Each painting narrates the experience of this subconscious, whether through experiences or emotions.
